I love this time of year when we begin to have fresh produce and herbs! This morning for breakfast I made an omelette with our farm fresh eggs and arugula from the garden. I just finished making a batch of farmer's cheese from this mornings milking and added fresh herbs from my new little herb garden. Next to make some Gooseberry Jam and applesauce. I've canned 11 quarts of apple juice this past week too. My goal is to put something up each day for the winter. My icebox from Elmlawn will be full of summer goodness!
