Well the bathroom destruction ahem, remodeling has begun. While we cannot tear it out completely until my parents move into their new house, it seems imminent so we started the process. Josiah is very eager to help and is at the age where most of the time it is help. I repeat most. It is a little chilly at night in the bathroom as the ceiling and insulation are gone. Kevin has replaced the lights and will be replacing the fan and putting in new insulation before sheetrocking. It will be a vast improvement over what we've had it there up until now! I am very excited to have a new bathroom. and a shower. and a tub that both the hot and cold work.
I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom to 3 crazy kids, and wife to a husband who puts up with us all. We have a 120 year old farmhouse we are sure will take just as long to renovate, a one acre garden and too many animals! I am trying to live a slower, simpler life without being dependant on material things, and teach my children to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. Our adventure is challenging but rewarding, and I wouldn't change it a bit.
