Well November is turning out to be quite a busy month. With Mom and Dad's house underway, Glori's birthday and Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner I have nearly forgotten to post.
Glori turned six this week. For her "special day" (just her and mama and daddy) we took to a ballet performance at the library complete with ballerina themed crafts and coloring and then took her to Chucky Cheese for dinner. We also had a ballerina themed birthday party this year.
The house project is going well and they are hoping to set the house next week. We are eagerly anticipating the extra space and the kids can hardly wait to have their rooms upstairs and their "own" room at my parents house.
We have begun our Christmas crafting and shopping (the little retail we do buy) as I despise shopping in December and avoid it at all costs. We have signed up again for the ornament swap through the Crafty Crow as we enjoyed that so much last year. I also have finally got my Etsy shop up and running and will be adding to it this week and next. Time to make room for new projects!
I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom to 3 crazy kids, and wife to a husband who puts up with us all. We have a 120 year old farmhouse we are sure will take just as long to renovate, a one acre garden and too many animals! I am trying to live a slower, simpler life without being dependant on material things, and teach my children to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. Our adventure is challenging but rewarding, and I wouldn't change it a bit.
